About Us
For over 25 years, The Sikh Humanitarian Society has stood beside girls from underprivileged families, quietly ensuring that financial hardship never becomes a barrier to education. Every afternoon, our classrooms come alive with hope. Girls from Class III to Class XII walk in with notebooks in their hands and dreams in their eyes—dreams of becoming teachers, doctors, professionals, and confident, self-reliant women.
Most of these children are first-generation learners. They come from diverse communities and faiths an belong to vulnerable, marginalised households that have long faced the harsh realities of poverty. For their families, educating a daughter is often a daily struggle against circumstances. For us, it is a moral responsibility and a sacred sewa that helps us do our bit for an equitable tomorrow.

Making quality education accessible to all!
The Sikh Humanitarian Society (SHS) provides access to quality education for girls who come from marginalized backgrounds. We nurture lifelong learning, and foster leadership.
We champion inclusive classrooms, safe spaces, and scholarship programs that remove financial barriers, helping girls stay in school and pursue higher studies and careers.
